So Many Books, So Little Time
“Are you okay?” My husband asks.
I frown. “Yeah, why?”
“You seem weird.”
And that’s how you know you’ve read a phenomenal book. “I just can’t get over the ending!” I tell him.
I recently finished reading Ann-Marie MacDonald’s The Way the Crow Flies – one of the best books ever written. Certainly one of the best I’ve ever read. When I got to the last page I exhaled, unaware I’d even been holding my breath.
Good books are like that, transporting you to other worlds and you have to tear yourself away from the pages just to cook dinner. Or sleep. I’m not going to ruin it for you by spoiling the plot. (You can read the reviews on Amazon.) But I will say there is a murder mystery that keeps you guessing to the end.
I’m already on to reading another book, Three Cups of Tea, thanks to my MIL for generously loaning me some good reads from her personal library.
So many books. So little time.
