5 Reasons to Read “Milk N’ Honey Learn and Grow”

Shonda is a wife, mother, and blogger who brings her experience from having taught kindergarten for twelve years to her blog, Milk N’ Honey Learn and Grow.  Here are 5 reasons to check out her blog:

5.  Her cute blog design! Her blog recently got a makeover.  I love her page’s layout and the little cartoon bee.  Plus, her site has lots of great links to other mommy blogs.

4.  Free and Fun Activities. Each Friday you’ll find a new fun idea to do with your kiddos.  And… they’re free!

3.  What’s On Our Bookshelf? We all know how important it is to read to our children, don’t we?  If I don’t go to the library then I just meander around the bookstore looking for eye-catching, colorful books.  Shonda makes it easy to find good reads by posting once a week about a book she has on her bookshelf.

2.  Learning Activities. Each week Shonda posts a new learning activity… and she adds pictures of her adorable little munchkin having fun!

1.  The guest posts! I had the wonderful opportunity to write three guest posts for Milk N’ Honey this past week.  The learning activity I shared was about teaching your baby sign language.  I learned to sign twenty years and interpreted at a church for several years.  I can honestly tell you sign language is a fun and easy skill to learn.  I Love You Through and Through is a sweet story for the little ones that you can find on my bookshelf!  For my final guest post I talked about how to use Scavenger Hunts as a teaching tool or just as a way to keep the kiddos entertained.

I hope you’ll stop by to checkout Shonda’s blog.  You can find her on Facebook HERE.
